Resizing sets an image's exact width and height, in pixels or as a percentage of the original — say, to match a platform's requirements or shrink a camera photo down for the web.
For example: A marketplace requires product photos at exactly 1000×1000px — enter those dimensions and the tool fits your photo to them in seconds.
Who uses it most: Marketplace sellers, content managers, web designers, social media specialists
If you only set width or only height, the other side scales proportionally with no distortion. Enter both manually with a different aspect ratio and the image will stretch — for precise framing, use the Crop tool instead.
Regular upscaling this way can blur the result — for genuinely sharp enlargement, use the separate Upscale Image tool, which relies on a neural network.
JPG, PNG, WebP, and AVIF, both in and out.
